Dogus Group of Schools made its way to the education sector in 1974 as a High School in order to equip students with the consciousness and strength needed to contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of our country.

A Primary School was founded in 1985, and a Kindergarten in 1987. In 1993, the first school radio in Turkey - Dogus FM - started broadcasting at 106.5 mhz with the slogan of "The Sound of Kemalist Youth". In order to help the students adapt to the globalism process, Dogus Schools applied to the European Council of International Schools in 1994 and was accepted as a permanent member. To be able to provide a modern education, Dogus Schools were accepted to The International Baccalaureate Organization and by this way opened up a new window to the West. In 1995, a new link was added to the chain and Dogus Science School was founded in order to educate highly talented students in mathematics and science skills. The same year, Dogus Education Foundation was opened and in 1997, Dogus University was founded. Within the university, public services were added to the mission of our school in 2002. Dogus University Constant Education Center (DOGUS-SEM) began to offer its services with a view to providing short-term educational programs, certificate programs, special training programs for corporations and seminars open to the public.

In 2010 the Dogus Educational Institution was unconditionally accredited by the CIS which was a great accomplishment, especially when it is taken into consideration that Dogus was the first institution where all the constituent schools took accreditation simultaneously and immediately. Moreover, special notice should be taken of the fact that Dogus Kindergarten was one of only two successful kindergartens in Turkey. CIS accreditation, an internationally recognized standard, demonstrates that Dogus Schools have a world class educational system.

In addition to its campus in Acibadem, Kadikoy, Dogus Group of Schools opened its second Kindergarten in Camlica in 2004 with the aim of contributing to pre-school education in Turkey.
