Doğuş University Advancement Orchestra and Choir (DÜGOK), which assembles students, academicians, graduates and administrative staff under the same roof, is a leader and sample organization for other universities in Turkey. It gets its strength from Doğuş University administration which believes in being an institution that supports art and Doğuş University students who have the spirit of art.

Anyone who wants to participate in DÜGOK must attend an audition to assess his or her ability. The candidates who succeed in the audition are given free courses in singing, solfege and breathing techniques. Lessons are given personally by the professional artists who founded DÜGOK. Practice hours are scheduled around students' lessons. Graduates who want to stay in touch with their university and art department can continue their music studies with DÜGOK.

DÜGOK gives monthly themed concerts. At the same time, we organise nights to honour well-respected names in art, literature and culture with an award. Classic songs from Turkish and World music are mostly emphasized in our concerts. The concerts are also enriched by theatrical shows and dances. Not only Doğuş University members, but also their families and other art-lovers in the community are encouraged to attend these concerts. With DÜGOK concerts, students both spend their free time efficiently and contribute to the assignation of art and community.
