Smart Card Application
Doğuş University has been applying a smart card system within university premises since 2007 - 2008 academic year. ID Cards given to students are also used for payment purposes in such university facilities as dining halls, photocopy center, library and IT Center.
Bank
A Halk Bank branch is available at the Acibadem campus. Halk Bank and Turkiye Is Bankasi ATMs are available in Block G.
Photocopy Center
There are 2 Photocopy Centres in Blocks E and F where students pay for their shopping. Besides photocopying, bookbinding and bookspiralling are also offered.
Catering Facilities
The dining hall in Acibadem Campus is found in H-Block. Also, a table d'hote lunch -with a set menu and a fixed total price is served between 12:00 and 13:30 in Hasanpasa Campus. Student cafeterias also serve food between 07:30 and 21:00. A wide variety of hot and cold beverages and food choices such as sandwiches, fast food options, pot meals, salads, and snacks are available in student cafeterias. There are five different student cafeterias which are found in F Block (Pool Cafeteria), in the entrance to K and H Blocks, in H-Block Roof and in Hasanpasa Campus.
Health Service
Doğuş University Health Service is run by a specialist doctor and psychologist directed by the Office of General Secretary. A specialist nurse is also appointed for emergency situations in Hasanpasa Campus. The health service of the university was founded with the purpose of dealing with the staff and students' health problems carefully, neatly and secretly within the scope of patient rights. The health service of the university Works in a way that students and staff can Access to the health center directly with no payment for examination. However, they can be referred to health centers when necessary.
Student Study Rooms
There are two study rooms at our university located in H and K Blocks. These rooms at K block -2ndFloor and K Block 1st mezzanine floor are designed to give student the chance of studying in a comfortable atmosphere. They open at 9.00 am and students can use them anytime during the day. It is possible to use the rooms at evening times as well.
Transportation
As Doğuş University campus is located in Acibadem, Kadikoy, there are various transportation options.
It takes approximately 10 minutes to get to Kadikoy and Uskudar From Kadikoy, take the buses and minibuses travelling by E-5 in Kartal direction, and get off at Doğuş University Bus stop.
From Uskudar, take the buses and minibuses travelling by E-5 in Kartal direction and get off at Doğuş University Bus stop.
From Kadikoy, you can also travel to Acibadem by buses and minibuses. Take the "Vali Evleri" bus (Number 8) from Kadikoy, and get off at Doğuş University Bus stop.
There are several ways to reach Doğuş University from the European Side of Istanbul but the most convenient means of transportation is the metrobus. Uzuncayir Metrobus Stop, where students can access metrobuses providing service between Avcilar-Sogutlucesme is just 5 minutes away from the university.
