Short Biography

Ömercan Tüm is a Research Assistant in the Department of English Language and Literature at Doğuş University, İstanbul. He received his BA and MA in English Language and Literature from Karabük University, Turkey. His M.A thesis was also published as a book titled as “A Study of Self-Deceptive Narration of Trauma” His fields of interest include English and American Literature with a special emphasis upon Contemporary Prose; Cultural Studies; Trauma Studies as well as Trauma Literature.  He has attended several conferences on English Literature and published academic articles.
