The purpose of this program is to train auxiliary health personnel, who can provide basic and advanced life support to patients/injured in emergency care services before they are brought to a hospital; perform preventative medical interventions against further injuries, so that the life is saved during the time until the patient/injured is taken to the actual treatment; recognize all kinds of systematic trauma, plan and execute the proper emergency approach and make sure that the patient or injured can safely be transferred to hospitals after first aid.

Vertical Transfer Opportunities

Graduates of this program can transfer externally to the following undergraduate departments:

  • Emergency Rescue and Disaster Management,
  • Nursing,
  • Health Management and Social Services.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this program can work as “Emergency First Response Technicians” at 112 services, aircrafts (helicopters and planes) and marine ambulances, private ambulance companies, firehouses (AKS-110) and triage and ER departments of public and private hospitals.
