Doğuş University Erasmus Institutional Coordinator

Erasmus +, which is conducted by the Turkish National Agency, is a European Union program, which encourages higher education institutions to cooperate with each other. European Commission communicates with the universities which hold the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education through Turkish Prime Ministry State Planning Organization, and European Union Education and Youth Programs Centre (National Agency). In order to contribute to the individuals who benefit from the program, the European Commission provides financial support by giving grants to students. Each university in Turkey that is involved in the Erasmus exchange program requests a grant from the National Agency based on the number of Erasmus student candidates for the upcoming academic year. The National Agency evaluates the grant requests from all Turkish universities and transfers them to the European Commission.  For detailed information about the Turkish National Agency and Erasmus + program, please click here.    Erasmus + program enables higher education institutions to produce and implement joint projects with each other and exchange students and staff for a semester or a year. Our university has been one of the first universities to join the Erasmus program as of 2005. We have 169 Erasmus Agreements with 88 different institutions in 21 countries. Our university participates in Erasmus programs with an increasing number of students and faculty members every year.
