Social Contribution Policy

DOU takes into consideration the contribution to society while conducting its R&D activities. To this end, it strives to add value to science and humanity by continuously encouraging its academic education and research personnel and through its education and R&D centres.

The institution implements its social contribution policy through various applications. In addition to academic units, the Technology Transfer Office, Advanced Technology Application and Research Centre, Research, Innovation, Application and Advanced Technology Application and Research Centre (DOUTEK), the Women's Studies Application and Research Centre (DOUKAM), and the Continuing Education Centre (DOUSEM), and the Distance Education Application and Research Centre (DOUZEM). Students participate in Social Responsibility Projects and related social contribution activities. These activities are decided upon and monitored by the relevant committees of the University. DOU, which views maintaining constant communication with internal stakeholders and contributing to their development as one of its management principles, also attaches importance to organising educational, social, and cultural activities that encourage lifelong learning among external stakeholders.
