On Campus Student Employment

Doğuş University has been offering an On Campus Student Employment Program since the 2004-2005 academic year. The On Campus Student Employment Program gives students the opportunity to gain work experience by working at campus units while continuing their current education, to improve their social and cultural skills, get familiar with different units in campus and earn some extra income. Application announcements are pinned on university boards at the beginning of each academic year. Students with full scholarship can work for a maximum of 40 hours a month and they are paid on an hourly basis.

Insurance for employed students is arranged according to the sub-article no:b, 5th article of Social Security and General Health Insurance Law in which students are subjected to the 46th article of Higher Education Law no 2547. If the students earn less than the third times of the income determined by the 82nd article, Workmen’s Compensations Insurance ıs used for those students. They are insured according to the 1st sub-article no:a of the 4th article.
