Course Selection and Registration Course Selection Warnings and Information Notes 1. Prerequisite Courses To select courses with prerequisites, you must have successfully completed the relevant course beforehand. 2. Credit and ECTS Limits The maximum number of credits/ECTS that can be taken in a semester is determined by the Senate. 3. Required and Elective Courses Courses that are required for graduation must be taken. If you have any required courses that you have not yet taken, you are expected to select these courses first. 4. Overlapping Courses You cannot select courses scheduled on the same day and time in the same semester. 5. Enrollment Between Programs (Programs with Different Languages of Instruction) Students enrolled in programs taught in Turkish must provide documentation proving they meet the foreign language proficiency requirements set by the Senate if they wish to take courses from programs taught in a foreign language. The process is completed by submitting a petition to the Dean's Office with the documents proving that the proficiency requirements have been met. 6. Repeating and FF Courses If you have previously failed (received an FF grade) in any courses, you must repeat the said course. These courses are prioritized by the system during course selection.
