DOĞUŞ WINS THE MOST CREATIVE PROJECT AWARD FROM TEMA

The Environment and Sustainable Life Club, representing Doğuş University, has attended the Young Theme Coordination meeting organized by TEMA Foundation in March. The meeting has been held in Antalya with over 160 participants from 56 different cities and 83 different universities.

Erkan Degirmenci, student of Mechanical Engineering program and Head of Environment and Sustainable Life Club at Doğuş University, has said that the award caused excitement and motivated them to bring out projects that would add more value to the environment. Mr. Değirmenci has said that the aim of their projects is to create a sustainable environmental awareness in the public sector and in this area.

Explaining the scope of their projects, Club Vice President Gamze Keskin has added that the collected waste plastic caps are recycled by a method developed by their teams proving apt as a food container for street animals. As a club that has implemented many projects before, Doğuş University Environment and Sustainable Life Club conducts university organization of TEMA Foundation.
