TÜBİTAK and French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bosphorus Joint Project Call Concluded

Doğuş University Dr. Lecturer Emel Önal Dumanoğlu's '' Non-aggregated, light-sensitive new phthalocyanine derivatives capable of producing high levels of signlet oxygen, inducible in the near infrared region: investigation of encapsulation and anti-cancer photodynamic effects in tumor-targeted biocompatible poly (benzyl malate) nanoparticles With the project titled "Protocol for Program of Integrated Actions (PIA) - Bosphorus", it has been one of the six projects to be supported within the scope of the joint research projects call opened in 2020.

On 16 July 2003, "Protocol for Program of Integrated Actions (PIA) - Bosphorus" was signed between Turkey Scientific and Technological Research Council(TUBITAK) and the Republic of France Ministry of Foreign Affairs and it was decided that a total of 6 projects would be supported within the scope of the joint research projects call opened in 2020.

Among the projects decided to be supported, Doğuş University Dr. Faculty Member Emel Önal Dumanoğlu also has a project.

Doğuş University Faculty of Engineering, Industrial Engineering (English) faculty member Dr. Emel Önal Dumanoğlu as a coordinator of the international project called '' New phthalocyanine derivatives that are non-aggregated, capable of producing high signlet oxygen, and that can be excited in the near infrared region, are light-sensitive phthalocyanine derivatives: Encapsulation and anti-cancer photodynamic effects in tumor-targeted biocompatible poly (benzyl malate) nanoparticles” and within the framework, ' Protocol for the Integrated Program of Action (PIA)-Bosphorus” that was signed between Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and the Republic of France Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been accepted as  TÜBİTAK French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bosphorus Project.
