The event titled 'Quantum Dawn', introducing our new quantum computer that is set to qualitatively transform our university's research capacity, was held with the participation of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erkut ALTINDAĞ, Rector's Advisor Prof. Dr. Şirin KARADENİZ, and our faculty members.
During the meeting, in addition to the technical capabilities of our system, the new research ecosystem to be established at our university in areas such as quantum computing, optimization, quantum artificial intelligence, material simulations, and cryptography was comprehensively discussed.
Our faculty members contributed to shaping the new research period by sharing interdisciplinary project ideas and possible collaboration models. At the end of the meeting, an assessment was made of the strategic advantages the quantum computer will bring to our university and the momentum it will generate for our research capacity.
