Doğuş University Reaches the Finals at the Türkiye Quantum and Deep Technology Summit

Lecturers Mert HIZMALI and Bülent ÖKTELİK from our University's Vocational School of Corporate Information Expertise Program reached the finals of the Türkiye Quantum and Deep Technology Summit 2025, one of Turkey's prestigious technology events.

The post-quantum security SDK named QuantumShield, developed by our academicians, received significant attention in the “Quantum Startup Showcase” segment of the summit and successfully advanced to the final.

During their presentation, they addressed the vulnerability of current cryptographic infrastructures against quantum threats, the risks posed by the “store now, decrypt later” approach, and the challenges critical sectors may face while transitioning into the post-quantum era. Additionally, QuantumShield’s rapid integration, hybrid secure transition architecture, and optimized performance advantages were closely followed by participants.
