BALLISTIC OPERATION SHIELDS-SUPERLIGHT AND BULLETPROOF

Ballistic operation shields that are in use are all made of steel and very heavy and very hard to carry during long lasting operations.  Composite ballistic shields are developed for the purpose of security forces to carry during  their operations.  Lighter than steel, and extremely easy carrying may help them for effective operations.  They can be mounted on the shoulders and can be used easily and practically while using hand gun or rifles.  Their weight is changing in between 2-8 kg for certain ballistic protection levels of II, IIA and III.
