Admission Requirements for Graduate Programmes

Foreign students who are in the last year of undergraduate degree or graduates can benefit from the foreign student quotas of our university. You may click here to create an online application.

The applications of the candidates with the characteristics stated below can also benefit from the foreign student quotas of our university:

  1. Foreign nationals
  2. Foreign nationals;
    1. who are Turkish citizens by birth and who have been granted permission to leave Turkish citizenship by the Ministry of Interior and their underage children
    2. who are registered in the certificate of withdrawal from Turkish citizenship
    3. who have the certificate concerning the exercise of the rights granted by Law No. 5203
  3. Candidates with double citizenship, who are foreigners by birth and acquired Turkish citizenship afterwards
  4. Turkish nationals who have completed their high school education in a foreign country except TRNC (KKTC)
  5. Those who are Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) nationals, residing in TRNC; those who have completed their secondary education in TRNCand have GCE AL exam results

Turkish students who have completed their secondary education in a foreign country (except for Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) and Turkish students who hold a dual citizenship must submit an entry/exit record to prove their presence in the regarding country throughout their studies.


Diplomas and transcripts are required to be submitted in English or Turkish. If you are holding a diploma in another language, you must have it translated to English or Turkish by a notary or the Turkish diplomatic representations abroad. Students applying for PhD programmes also need to submit their Master's Degree diploma and transcript.

2 If the candidate has not graduated yet, an official letter to be issued by the university indicating that the candidate is a senior student in the regarding university.

3 Certificate of Recognition is a document provided by the Council of Higher Education of Turkey. You can apply for the Certificate of Recognition by clicking here .

4 The Equivalency Certificate is a document for proving that the foreign undergraduate diploma is equivalent of an undergraduate diploma in Turkey. This certificate is provided by the Council of Higher Education of Turkey and it is only required for students who are applying for programmes on health and medicine areas. Also, the applicant may need to submit this document on the demand of the Institute of Graduate Studies. You may apply for Equivalence Certificate by clicking here. Since the acquisition of this document might take multiple months, the student may sign a petition for the late submission of this document.

5 Accepted exam results for English proficiency are TOEFL IBT (72), PTE Academic (55), CAE (C), KPDS/ÜDS/YDS (60). Prospective students may also take Doğuş University English Language Proficiency Exam (DÜİYES) during the registration process. Students applying for programmes in Turkish must submit either a TÖMER (B2) document or ALES exam result for proving their Turkish proficiency.
