Admission Requirements for Undergraduate / Associate Degree Programmes

Foreign students who are in the last year of secondary education (high school) or graduates can benefit from the foreign student quotas of our university. You may click here to create an online application.

The applications of the candidates with the characteristics stated below can benefit from our quotas:

  1. Foreign nationals
  2. Foreign nationals;
    1. who are Turkish citizens by birth and who have been granted permission to leave Turkish citizenship by the Ministry of Interior and their underage children,
    2. who are registered in the certificate of withdrawal from Turkish citizenship, 
    3. who have the certificate concerning the exercise of the rights granted by Law No. 5203
  3. Candidates with double citizenship, who are foreigners by birth and acquired Turkish citizenship afterwards
  4. Turkish nationals who have completed their high school education in a foreign country except TRNC (KKTC)
  5. Those who are TRNC (KKTC) nationals, residing in TRNC (KKTC); those who have completed their secondary education in TRNC (KKTC) and have GCE AL exam results

Please note: Until you upload all the required documents, your application will not be put in evaluation process. You will get informed about the result of evaluation within two weeks of your application date.

Documents Required to Submit for Final Registration:

  1. Original High School Diploma1
  2. High School Transcript1
  3. Equivalency Certificate3
  4. Copy of passport
  5. 4 colored passport photos
  6. Language proficiency exam result (if any)4
  7. Turkish ID Card or Blue Card (if any)

Turkish students who have completed their secondary education in a foreign country (except for Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) and Turkish students who hold a dual citizenship must submit an entry/exit record to prove their presence in the regarding country throughout their studies.

According to the regulations set by Council of Higher Education of Turkey only Fall term intake is available for Bachelors’ Degree programmes.


1 Diplomas are required to be submitted in English or Turkish. If you are holding a diploma in another language, you must have it translated to English by a notary or the Turkish diplomatic representations abroad.

If the candidate has not graduated yet, an official letter to be issued by the principal indicating that the candidate is a senior student in high school.

3 Equivalency Certificate is provided by Ministry of National Education of Turkey or Embassy of Turkey in the student’s home country, stating that the regarding high school diploma is equivalent to a high school diploma in Turkey.

Documents Required for Equivalency Certificate Application:

1. Original diploma

2. Original transcripts of last three years of high school

3. Copy of passport

Original diploma and original transcript required for the Equivalency Certificate application should be apostilled or approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the student’s home country. 4  Accepted exam results are TOEFL (IBT 72), PTE Academic 55, CAE C, KPDS/ÜDS/YDS 60. Prospective students may also take Doğuş University English Language Proficiency Exam (DÜİYES) during the registration process. Students who are applying for a programme in Turkish may submit their TÖMER document as a proof of their Turkish proficiency.
